Jorge Rojas-Gutiérrez

Graduated in History from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, he completed the Master’s degree in History and Digital Humanities at the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville, where he currently pursuing a PhD as part of an FPU fellowship. His research area focuses on the circulation of elites across different territories of the Hispanic Monarchy.
Pedro Omar Svriz-Wucherer
Collaborator (until february 2021)
Ph.D. in History and Humanities from UPO. His doctoral thesis focused on the Guarani militias of the Jesuit Reductions in Paraguay between the 17th and 18th centuries. He is mainly concerned with how monarchies, Jesuit institutions, and economic, social, and cultural variables combined to defend the Spanish empire’s frontier.

Master’s degree in Geography and History from the University of Barcelona. She previously worked as a Senior Research Support Technician at the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville. She is co-author of several books and articles on modern and contemporary history of Spain.
